Which archetype does enki embody

You might stumble across a picture of Pan, Loki, Anansi, Puck, or other symbolic representations of the Trickster. You can either stare at the picture on your phone and disable the screensaver so that you can do your pathworking uninterrupted or print out a picture.

To pathwork, find a quiet undisturbed place. You want to be able to comfortably stare at your picture. Connect with your breath, ground yourself , then gaze gently at the image in front of you.

After a few minutes, your vision will gain a warped or dreamlike quality. Allow it. Once you feel yourself entering a light altered state of consciousness , imagine walking into the picture and interacting with the being. Alternatively, you could imagine the figure springing to life.

The responses you receive may be symbolic, verbal or kinesthetic bodily sensations. Once you are finished talking with the figure, thank them, then return to normal consciousness. Record your discoveries in your journal. Active imagination is similar to pathworking except it is done solely within your mind. Active imagination basically involves going on an unstructured visual journey within your inner landscape. Unlike visualization, nothing is prescribed: it is all spontaneous.

For example, to work with a specific archetype, such as the Monk, you may choose to begin your active imagination within a monastery. Let your imagination go wild and see what happens. Does a monk come into the place? Perhaps a wise old owl flies in and then transforms into a mysterious hooded figure who then takes you on a journey?

Maybe the floor opens up and you fall into a secret chamber. Virtually anything could happen. Sometimes new layers of insight come when unpacking your archetypal journeys. Temporarily taking on the behaviors and attributes of your chosen archetype is a great way to integrate them into your personality structure. For example, if you wish to connect with the Seductress or Don Juan side of your nature, why not pick a sensual perfume, a beautiful piece of jewelry or an elegant outfit to wear?

Put simply, we are composed of a multitude of archetypes. Archetypes form the many facets of our being. Working with archetypes is something I do each and every day, and it has added so much richness and depth to my life. Perhaps most of all, it has helped me to integrate parts of myself that I never even knew existed. Which archetypes attract you the most?

Which do you plan to work with? Please share below! Aletheia Luna is an influential spiritual writer whose work has touched the lives of millions worldwide. So often, websites at the top of the search results for any given topic just barely scratch the surface or regurgitate the most superficial information about something especially something as popular as archetypes.

With your post, however, I do feel like I actually learned some things and that I have some resources at my disposal that can further my learning and take me deeper on this journey. Thank you! This is a wonderful compliment, thank you Ana!

I do put a lot of thought and heart into what I write and share here on lonerwolf. Thank you for your work. I am grateful for your help and will continue to utilise the invaluable information you provide. Great work Lonerwolf!! This is article Can I contact you? Can I write to you directly. Where can I learn more about the spiritual archetypes?

I took the quiz and got prophet, but I was on the fence about some of the answers. I took it again and got shaman. I would love to learn about all of them in depth and use these insights to become in touch with my higher self. Thank you. Luna, look how good is this! Have you published a book on Archetypes? I plan to buy the Shadow Work…. Many Blessings! I hope this helps.

Greek and Norse deities I have quite a complex relationship with, tending to despise both Zeus and Aphrodite though the power embodied by the latter wields a powerful sway over my life and mind; if we were in a Greek myth my succession of experiences of unrequited love would be a just retribution for failing to honour her in my supreme hubris admiring Athena and Artemis and liking Demeter and Hestia.

He seems just about the most well-adjusted of the major Olympians, with the possible exception of Hestia. Odin and Loki are alike intriguing, though neither as trustworthy as Heimdallr. Then again, I remain to this day in some sense a Christian as a child this was heavily tinged with Buddhism; increasingly this has moved to a greater degree of sympathy, respect and gratitude to the other Abrahamic sibling faith-traditions.

Oh and Shou Shing, the Taoist god of long life and one of the Three Gods of Happiness, but that is more based on his appearance. Spiritual archetypes is something i am very interested in and have been researching and even realizing myself.

But I cannot seem to find more on them, as google is proving to be quite useless in this area, i live in a city and country where there is a huge disatvantage when it comes research on Spirituality, and I cannot do the quiz on your website about Spiritual Archetypes over and over until i get all the answers, because it feels wrong. I know I am on to something, but I am at an early stage of my spiritual awakening journey, so guidance from people with more wisdom and experience than me is much appreciated.

Love this website. I am learning a lot. Hi Luna, I highly appreciate you on this article ,I am feeling some energetic articles like this one. I am glade to find and read this.

I was good in knowledge and was havinng good hand in Research but now I am like paralyses people. Where I am? I am suffering ,its painful to me.

I had a same experience with a boss of 7 years. Its been 4 years and i have found many new ways to provide myself for income and have been trying them all out worrying about keeping one job. I have recently stumbled across the concept of archetypes after traveling through Nepal and meeting Hindu people. How much these remind me of the concepts in Eastern deities! Wish me luck. An archtype must be wearing a mask. The majority insists on the mask. They lost face.

And whoever is going to bring them back to their own Spirit that is crying out for them, that wants them back, is being judged as someone who is either not in their right mind or who is — and this is where it really gets nasty — too afraid to wear a mask. You see?

The mask is the answer of the many to the quest of the few: Liberty. I sweat behind a mask. I tear it off. I show you my face. You hate me for doing that, for not participating in your daily theatre with an ancient plot line: The Escape from Self.

I tell you what: If you need to talk to a mask, find one. Attract one. I want Freedom in my chest, in my hair, in my heart, in my movements. Alma, I hear your frustrations and concerns, but you misunderstand the fundamental role of archetypes.

You seem to perceive archetypes from what I gather in your message as masks that people wear. However, archetypes actually form the fabric of our psyches. We are actually composed of many selves that form one cohesive ego. Being Free is also pragmatically about doing inner work both psychologically and spiritually.

Part of that inner work involves maturing our egos, for you cannot wake up before you grow up. I agree that we are stuck in a game of Escape from Self, but part of the journey towards embodying that Self involves reconnecting with lost parts of our ego through archetype work for instance. When the ego self is weak and fragmented, the next level of genuine spiritual transformation cannot occur.

I hope that makes sense. Best wishes. I am no enemy of inner maturation, sweethearts. I find my truths in what I see. I go into hiding, then. To be alone with my spirit. So I can SEE again. Call that romanticism, if you like.

I do not see no reason to defend my truth. It is not for me to defend those of others either. You may hear, but can you listen? You need to rely on your own judgement whispers your soul. Hi Alma. I beautify. I challenge. I am grace. Which Archetype do you embody? In virtually all cultures, there are about twenty to twenty three mythic, archetypal containers of divine consciousness.

These archetypal containers, when looked at as a whole, provide a patterning of consciousness, a blueprint for spiritual evolution. These archetypes can be seen in Tarot archetypes, Jungian archetypes, Mayan archetypes and many others. Archetypal forms remain constant as an energet6ic pattern of consciousness, regardless of how the individual form varies from culture to culture or time to time.

These archetypal containers rise up from the collective unconscious, especially in the drama of the life of humans, making their presence known and felt as spiritual reminders that we are more than we seem in daily life. Our individual archetypes are reflected in our desires and intentions.
