You have to submit a schedule as well as a school schedule if you're a student. Despite both of these being submitted I would be scheduled for a shift when I had class. I would speak to schedulers often and each time they would say they'd fix it and it would keep happening.

I was once told that I wasn't a priority they had in mind when scheduling. Pros entrance to the parks, discounts, medical, on site physical therapist. Bad but good in many ways from the company. Not room for advancement and pay rarely increases but u do get into the parks. Always fun going into work. Always something new and exciting either it be new products or new events. Dealing with the guests was tiring, especially with the pay. Pros get yourself plus others in for free, discounts.

Cons underpaid, overworked, bad management. Leave a review. Help people like you. Over worked not really appreciated but good money, pretty easy. Best perks are the tickets. Sometimes understaffed. Guests are rude. I know that's typically not what people get jobs for, but you will def meet some forever friends wherever you're working on property.

Benefits are great. The new contract that was signed for union workers put pay rates at a decent spot. Pros Meal swipes for culinary, benefits are amazing, overtime pay is great, hour long break. Cast Members also have certain code words and phrases they use that guests will not understand to ensure that guests remain calm or unaware of particular circumstances.

As long as a Cast Member is not working, he or she can go into whatever park they please and enjoy all that Disney has to offer. I literally visited the parks on every single one of my days off when I was in the College Program. It literally became my second home. Cast Members also receive passes for their friends and family, so those people can come and experience the magic as well.

Some guests go out of their way to make magic for Cast Members, too! One of the ways to do this is to give a Cast Member a Four Keys card. You can do this by visiting a Guest Relations location.

Unlike points, though, these can help Cast Members get promotions and other great opportunities! I loved getting to walk around with an autograph book, asking little boys and girls dressed as characters for THEIR autographs. THIS is why people flock to Disney, for moments like these. AND this is why people want to work for Disney — because the atmosphere and the Cast Members can create an experience unlike any other. Are you ready to apply? Have you ever thought about becoming a Disney Cast Member?

I was a UK pavillion cast member in! I had peiople scream at me for no reason and also witnessed some beautiful moments that could only happen inside the parks. Very tough. But the great atmosphere and the the perks so make up for the tough times.

I would reccomend anyone to do the college programme or the international programme. It gives you friends for life and customer service standards that will never leave you. Maybe Disney should charge 50 bucks to park and like to get in the park….

But, there are far more adult Disney addicts than kids. The limited time event brought more than Disney cast members back to work. Disneyland brought back 10, cast members starting in mid-March in preparation for the full reopening of the Anaheim theme parks on April By Brady MacDonald bmacdonald scng.
